The clean room, friendly staff, and superb location near Central Park were highlights. However, the unprofessional service and cleanliness issues in some areas left me wanting more attention to detail. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.

Randy was a delight! Although the hotel had some issues, such as noise, room changes, and poor communication with management, the courteous staff and convenient location made up for it. Special mention to Romeo, the wonderful doorman. The room was spacious and clean, offering a pleasant stay despite minor inconveniences like low water pressure and small elevators. The property's customer service could improve to match the helpfulness of its staff. Overall, it was a decent stay with room for enhancement.

Liked our stay there, it was really nice! We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 4 nights, even so everything was good.

Fantastic location near Central Park and Times Square. Rooms are spacious and clean, great value for NYC. Helpful staff and easy subway access. Some minor issues like lack of USB outlets and slight maintenance issues, but overall a comfortable stay. Recommended for a convenient city visit.

Loved to be here, the hotel was clean and popular, the location was decent away from the main street. The rooms were well-appointed, brand-new, came with kitchen, terrace plus balcony😃😃

The location was incredibly convenient, with the subway close by, making it easy to navigate the city for meetings. The staff were also very accommodating and helpful, especially when I needed assistance with transportation for a colleague who fell ill. The room itself was comfortable, with large windows offering great views of the city. Overall, a pleasant stay despite some minor inconveniences.

Fairly clean hotel, I liked location and people. Everything was simply great.

What I liked was my quiet room with excellent breakfast. The staff were courteous, excellent services.

We had a blast watching the game at a cool sports bar called "The Locker Room". The place had a buzzing atmosphere, perfect for a fun night out, and the staff were super friendly. We also enjoyed happy hour at "The Huddle" - great drinks and a lively vibe, perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring the city.

My kids wished for a small play area within the hotel premises for some family fun.

I loved my stay, had a fairly nice experience. It was fairly clean, with very good staff and food.

Brilliant place for celebrating birthday, recommended. The continental breakfast, the accommodating employees. I loved having an individual safe, multi-channel TV and a writing desk. Late check-out too.

As youngsters, we loved the centrally located midtown location, with easy subway access. The spacious room with a comfortable bed was perfect for us. The well-designed bathroom/shower area was a plus. We enjoyed the free hotel wi-fi in the lobby and the convenience of printing tickets directly from our mobile devices. The friendly ladies at the 5PM mixer made our experience even better. a great stay!

I had ordered a bottle of sparkling wine for when we arrived, it wasn't in the room. It took 30 minutes to get it and it came in hot. We had tickets for the observatory at the One and since there were a lot of people at the reception, we decided to mention that the bottle was not cold and that we were disappointed with this first impression. We came back very late and spoke with the manager the next day. He was not very understanding and we finally gave him the bottle. We weren't charged for it, but we had to argue and it was very unpleasant . Then, at the end of our short stay (two nights), it was raining very hard. We had taken the valet parking service and asked to have our car for our departure. We had 5 hours to drive to our next destination. The valet left the passenger side window wide open. By the time we loaded the car, the passenger seat was soggy and I drove a few hours completely soaked. It's the little things that make the experience really not enjoyable. Hotel service is excellent when there is attention to detail. We didn't feel that's what the Fifty offered. We're certainly not going back there.

The staff and location were all nice. The room was large with extremely comfy beds. We loved the luxurious bathroom here.

Stuff was welcoming, rooms are immaculate, and I loved unbeatable location. Rooms with kitchenette and double queen beds, as for instance. Brand-new hotel located so close to Manhattan, a subway station, eateries.

I keep coming back for superb service and a seamless stay. The staff went above and beyond to resolve a room issue late at night – unforgettable. The amenities cater to my needs – luggage storage, fitness center, and more. It's my go-to for a city break.

Great location near major subways, with a cool diner nearby - super handy. The kitchenette in the room really won us over, and the staff were nice and helpful. The only snag was the toilet, took a bit of a trick to flush it right, but nothing major - overall, would definitely stay again! Perfect for my son's 14th birthday shindig, close to all the hotspots, plus sizeable suites suited for this sports mom - clean, efficient, and cooperative staff - perfect!❤️

I loved the location of the hotel, as it was in walking distance to all the major tourist attractions and close to some amazing restaurants. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel facilities were clean and modern. Additionally, it was convenient to have a metro stop nearby that connected directly to the airport.

Keep in mind that they charge for receiving packages before you arrive at the hotel (this has never happened to me before).

hotel is modern and pleasant, it is very well located in the centre of Manhattan. rooms are spacious and staff is very helpful. fitness center is not large but the equipment is recent.

The restaurant Le National around the corner was recommended to us by the hotel but the reception was rather icy...The schedule indicated closing at midnight but the waiter told us that the establishment was already closed, it was only 10:00 a.m. and some customers were still eating.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the center of downtown with everything within walking distance. There were also some great restaurants located close by that we thoroughly enjoyed. The service was exceptional, from the bellman to the doorman, everyone was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as tea and coffee facilities, in-room safe and ironing facilities. The staff were always willing to help us find the best places to visit, and they even helped us find an amazing jazz place we would never have found on our own.

We would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

ideal location for visiting New York and shopping. bedding is of good quality and rooms are clean and spacious.

A tax of 35$ per day, mandatory, corresponding to the price of wifi and giving access to daily trinkets (except on the day of check out and unless you exceed 10$...). Breakfast is not very varied, nor very good. There is no point in taking it at the hotel. The staff at the reception is sometimes limit pleasant.

The room was like a dream NYC apartment, with a full urban kitchen and all the fixings. As a light sleeper, the cozy bed felt like a cloud.

Excellent location to visit New York; it allowed us to walk to many of its most important and characteristic places. This is the second time we stayed at this hotel, and I would certainly repeat.. Comfortable, spacious rooms, and friendly staff.

We were initially disappointed that our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but the front desk staff at Sonesta Select New York were kind and friendly, and they quickly resolved the issue. The room itself was beautiful, with a stunning view. The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to restaurants, the metro, and other amenities. The staff at all areas of the hotel were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. we had a good experience and would consider staying here again.

geographical location of this hotel is incredible! It is at the same time close to everything and far away from the noise of the big city while maintaining a great dynamism. staff and clientele were young, beautiful lady at the reception welcomed us like kings despite our late arrival. free all-you-can-eat wine service and a fresh lemonade waiting for you between 5 and 6 pm on the second floor! rooms are very spacious, ours had a well equipped kitchen, is rare in NYC where space is sorely lacking! decoration is convivial, chic and modern. There's a McDonald's just downstairs which is 24 hours a day, bank around the corner, pharmacy, sportswear shop, lot of foodtrucks which is the trademark of the city, most extraordinary: We are only 10 minutes walk from Times Square. Just go straight on 50th and turn left onto Broadway! by the way, you'll come across tons and tons of beautiful things! I still can't believe I discovered this little marvel!

The parking and valet service is still a bit expensive! For 75$ per night, you have to leave the car there for good! No possibility to get in and out as they say in and out (if not it's a new 75$). For those of you who will be there during the WEek end, from Friday 7pm to Monday 7am we don't pay for parking so find a corner for your car and explore the city on foot, by lift or subway!

The mezzanine lounge, with its fireplace and heavy sofas, provided the perfect place for deep conversation while sipping mouthwatering cocktails. It felt like stepping into a scene from a classic movie, where every moment was filled with warmth and charm.

The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. We felt safe and secure, especially during UN Week when there was heightened security in the area. the cleanliness of our room was impressive, with the housekeeping staff keeping it spotless throughout our stay.

One downside was the lack of amenities that we were used to at other hotels. Happy hours were cancelled and there were unreasonable fees for certain services.

We stayed at The Fifty for 3 nights during our family trip. The staff was incredibly helpful and stored our bags after check-out so we could explore the city a bit more. The room was spacious, clean, and had nice finishes. The 2nd floor lounge was a great place to relax, and the location was perfect—close to MOMA, Theater District, and public transportation. The staff even went above and beyond to make our 27th anniversary special with a romantic surprise in our room. The breakfast room turned work space was a great idea, and the beds were comfortable.

I had such a wonderful stay at this place in New York! The location is absolutely perfect, with multiple subway stations nearby and all the main attractions within easy reach. I loved that it wasn't "on top" of the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to walk to everything I wanted to see. And there were so many great restaurants located close by, making it super convenient for meals. The staff, from the bellman to the doorman, were all so helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They even helped me find an amazing jazz place one night and efficiently accommodated my request for an additional night in my reservation.

This hotel is situated in a great location and you can easily access most of the main attractions without being on top of them. If you needed anything urgent, it is just a stone’s throw away from 3rd Avenue. Commuting is never a problem when you are based in this hotel.

The hotel charges for WiFi in the room, and this can get expensive if you are traveling with family or friends who will all need access.

I recently stayed at Sonesta Select for a family trip. The rooms were spacious, accommodating all four of us and our luggage comfortably. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially the two young front desk employees and the friendly doormen who made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, just blocks away from great shopping options. a beautiful hotel with clean rooms and a truly welcoming atmosphere.

Winter in the city is magical - snow, hot chocolate, and ice skating. The hotel's location is superb - close to famous landmarks and great shopping. The lounge is cozy with delicious cocktails. The buffet has a variety of fresh eats. The bar has big screen TVs for sports. The restaurants offer Greek and Irish cuisine. The hotel is a perfect spot to unwind or mingle with new people.

The location is great and the room was well-equipped. Although we arrived late, the heating took a little while to warm up. The hotel lounge is perfect for groups to gather. The hotel also has a wine hour that I enjoyed. I recommend Sonesta Select.
